Audioboost is proud to announce its partnership with Fondazione Teatro alla Scala under a multi-year agreement aimed at enhancing the digital accessibility of the Teatro. This initiative marks an important step forward in making cultural content more inclusive and accessible to a wider audience through audio format.
As part of the collaboration, Audioboost will convert all program details and editorial content from the Teatro alla Scala’s digital magazine into audio format. These will be made available in both Italian and English directly on the Teatro’s official website. Powered by Audioboost’s proprietary technology, this service aims to break down reading barriers and provide an immersive experience for users, including those with visual impairments or reading difficulties.

The partnership grants Audioboost the status of “Audible Technical Partner of Teatro alla Scala”, recognizing the company’s leadership in innovation and accessibility within the cultural heritage sector.

Technology must serve culture, not the other way around. This collaboration with Teatro alla Scala represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, showing how audio can enhance accessibility without compromising the essence of the artistic experience. We are proud to contribute to making the Teatro’s heritage even more inclusive and accessible to everyone,” said Cristina Pianura, CEO of Audioboost.
“This initiative is part of Fondazione Teatro alla Scala’s ongoing commitment to promoting cultural accessibility in all its forms. In addition to seats traditionally reserved for people with disabilities, the Teatro has introduced a wide range of new tools and initiatives in recent years to support inclusion.
Thanks to innovative audio technology, art and culture are now more accessible and engaging than ever before, reaching broader audiences and offering a unique listening experience. This technology will also allow the Teatro to breathe new life into its musical and cultural archive, making materials easily available in an audio format that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere.”
